About me

Hi there, Nina here!

A few years ago, I traded Brazil’s vibrant chaos for the misty stillness of the UK. By day, I work in the tech industry. By soul, I collect quiet moments, handwrite dreams, and design rituals for a life lived with intention.

Living alone, far from family and old rhythms, taught me a truth that now grounds this space:
Loneliness aches. But solitude? Solitude heals.

What is The Intentional Solo?

This isn’t just a blog.
It’s a digital refuge, part love letter, part creative lab, where I share rituals, reflections and soulful tools for those who live alone, or are learning to live within.

Here, we believe that a home for one can still feel whole.
That the soft rebellion of caring for yourself, intentionally and sensorially, is an act of quiet power.

What You’ll Find:

  • Everyday rituals: morning routines, silent evenings, journaling prompts, sensory self-care

  • Solo travel with presence and purpose

  • Emotional tools for navigating the messy, magical parts of solo living

  • And soon… digital products and ritual kits to anchor your own intentional solo life

Why I Create:

Because solo doesn’t have to mean scattered.
Because we deserve a life that feels like ours.
Because beauty, presence, and inner peace can be daily choices, not distant goals.

And because the act of making tea for one, setting the table for yourself, or lighting a candle before journaling… isn’t small.
It’s sacred.

My Little Pleasures:

Morning filter coffee: My daily meditation (no milk, no rush).
🚶 Long walks along the River Cam: Where nature reminds me that even water finds its way.
🌿 Mama plants: My leafy “flatbabies” (yes, I apologise when I forget to water them).

Let's connect:

I hope The Intentional Solo feels like a quiet room with soft light where your solitude is safe, beautiful, and yours to define.
