Winters in England can be quite chilly, so coming home after work feels even more special. There’s nothing better than a warm meal, my favorite cup of tea, and a relaxing self-care routine to help me unwind.

6:30 PM – Walking Home & Catching Up with Loved Ones
I work as a project manager, and after a full day at the office, I walk home instead of cycling (my bike is broken, and I’m in no rush to fix it). I actually enjoy the walk—it helps me get closer to my 10K step goal, even if I don’t quite reach it.
During my walk, I like to call someone—sometimes my long-distance boyfriend, sometimes my mum or a friend. It makes the journey home feel shorter and helps me transition from “work mode” to relaxation.

7:00 PM – Step-by-Step Dinner Routine: Quick, Easy & Comforting
One of the best parts of my evening is having a comforting meal. Some nights, I cook something fresh, but today I’m lucky—I don’t have to stop by the grocery store, and I already have a meal prepped! I have made yesterday a Veggie Curry and Rice. I made the rice with a rice cooker, my life-savier. I’ll share the highlights of my dinner steps from yesterday:

8:00 PM – Cleaning Up & Prepping for Tomorrow
After eating, I wash the dishes while finishing the episode I was watching. Multitasking at its finest!
I also take 10 minutes to prepare my lunch for the next day. I love this habit—it saves me time in the morning and helps me eat healthier & save money.

9:00 PM – Blogging & Exploring New Interests
After cleaning up, I dedicate about an hour to something I enjoy—either working on my blog or studying Hermetic Philosophy, this is something new I am studying.

10:15 PM – Warm Shower, Skincare & Relaxation
Before my night skincare routine, I always take a warm shower. There’s something about stepping into bed feeling fresh, clean, and lightly scented that makes me sleep even more comforting.

10:30 PM – Meditation & Positive Affirmations Before Bed
I try to be in bed by 10:30 PM, but let’s be honest—I’ve been staying up later these days because I’m so excited about my blog!
Before sleeping, I do a light meditation with positive affirmations to fall asleep with good thoughts. And I schedule my Spotify to stop the meditation after 30 minutes, because I always fall sleep listening the meditation 🙂
